IPTV basics
What does IPTV stand for?
Internet Protocol Television: TV delivered over an internet connection instead of an antenna, satellite dish or traditional cable. You watch it in an app on your TV, streaming stick, phone or computer.
How is IPTV different from Netflix or Crave?
On-demand apps such as Netflix or Crave are mostly libraries you browse. IPTV usually means live channels with a TV guide, sometimes with on-demand titles too. Both use your internet connection.
Is IPTV legal in Canada?
IPTV is a legal technology, and Canada's big TV providers use it. What is illegal is distributing or streaming channels without permission from the rights holders. Our guide Is IPTV legal in Canada? explains the court cases and what to look for.
What internet speed do I need for IPTV in Canada?
As a rule of thumb, allow about 5–10 Mbps per HD stream and 15–25 Mbps per 4K stream, on a stable connection. A wired Ethernet connection or a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal makes the biggest difference.
Plans and payment
How much does an IPTV subscription cost in Canada?
Prices vary a lot between services and plan lengths. Our own plans are shown in Canadian dollars on the IPTV subscription page, with the total you pay before you order.
Do Best IPTV Canada plans renew automatically?
No. Every plan is a single payment for a fixed period. We remind you before it ends, and you decide whether to continue.
How do I order?
Pick a plan, enter your email and WhatsApp number on the checkout page, and press Complete my order. We send a secure payment link on WhatsApp or by email. Your access details and setup guide follow as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Can I use more than one screen at once?
Each plan includes one connection (one screen at a time). Ask us before ordering if you need more, and we will tell you what is possible.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, under the conditions in our refund policy. Contact us first if something is not working: most problems are fixed with a setting.
Devices and setup
Which devices work with IPTV?
Most IPTV services run on smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, TCL), Android TV and Google TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, iPhone and Android phones, and Windows or Mac computers. See our smart TV setup guide.
How long does setup take?
Usually 5 to 15 minutes: install a player app, enter the details we send you, and start watching. Follow the Fire TV Stick guide or the smart TV guide.
Why does my stream buffer?
The usual causes are weak Wi-Fi, other heavy downloads on the network, or an old streaming device. Try Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, restart your router and device, and contact us if it continues.
